Deepen your understanding of the internally assessed NEA components with our Exploring the NEA training session

Our ‘Exploring the NEA’ course for GCSE Music J536 focuses on practice and application of the knowledge and skills for effective delivery, marking and moderation of NEA units. Our ‘Exploring’ event will:

  • Offer a detailed exploration of past candidate work to help inform and shape your teaching, marking and moderation practice
  • Provide opportunities to work through past series’ materials, including candidate exemplars
  • Offer advice and guidance from Principal/Lead Moderators to enhance teaching and NEA delivery.

Attending our ‘Exploring the NEA’ course will empower you to apply expert guidance and a range of exemplars to your own teaching and NEA delivery.

• Practice marking real candidate work and receive guidance on how and why candidates secured a range of marks

• Have opportunities to interact with expert trainers and ask questions to support with NEA preparation

• Explore ideas to enhance teaching and learning for future NEA preparation and delivery
