Led by an experienced Design and Technology expert, our ‘Starting to Teach’ event for A Level Design and Technology H404, H406 build your confidence to start teaching a new qualification.

The session will:

• Explain the specification content and assessment structure, so you know what to teach and how the content will be assessed
• Provide practical guidance on getting started in the classroom
• Explain how to access resources from Cambridge OCR and other providers so you have access to the support you need for planning, teaching and assessment

By attending our ‘Starting’ event, you will have opportunities to ask questions and network with other teachers, empowering you to teach Cambridge OCR A Level Design and Technology H404, H406 with confidence.

Aims and Objectives

• To support teachers in understanding specification and assessment principles, as well as signposting them to relevant support branches

• Guide delegates through the specification and assessment framework (in detail)
• Share information on Cambridge OCR support systems
• Offer an overview of the support and third-party resources on offer (and how to access them)
